Featured Apps are already approved, or application-stage projects on the Canton Network that need locked CC to satisfy Foundation governance requirements. After Cashen's KYB + onboarding process, FAs are enabled to post Listings or interact with offers on locked CC.

CIP-116 dictates that FA applications that pre-lock CC will be prioritized for review. Cashen provides access to this capital in an efficient way via bilateral delegation deals, where you match with a locked CC Supplier. Cashen handles the lock registration and governs the terms of the delegation deal, including APR, and duration parameters.

Terms, amount, rate, and duration are agreed upfront via negotiation before a deal goes live, so both sides have full clarity. Interest payments are made monthly in CC. Cashen solves this: match with a Supplier who delegates their locked CC to your application, so you can meet the requirement without buying Canton Coin yourself.

You don't need to buy Canton Coin outright. On Cashen, Featured Apps post a request for the amount of locked CC they need, then match with a Supplier who delegates their Canton Coin into a bilateral deal. The lock is registered with the Canton Foundation on your behalf, satisfying your Featured App locking requirement without collateral.

Locking Canton Coin means committing CC toward your Featured App's participation in the Canton Network, as required by Foundation governance (CIP-116).
